Panorama City, home of great food, warm weather, and of course the occasional monster attack. With Nighlok attacks being rather frequent, it was no wonder people would take time to enjoy themselves when the opportunity arose, and what better time was there than when the circus was in town? Indeed, the whole city was abuzz with the sound of chatter, people eager to talk about the troupe who had paraded through their streets only hours earlier. Clowns in brightly coloured clothes hand stuck up posters, elephants had trumpeted, dancers had whirled and leapt and tosses flower petals.

Now they were in the park, setting up the big top, preparing the grandest spectacle of the year, and everyone wanted a piece of the action. In fact, the excitement was so high, the mysterious ring master had put out ads for help wanted, seeking to bring in more staff to extend both the event, and their stay. Two such people who had signed up to join in with helping, were two of the city’s very own protectors. Mia Watanabe and Kevin, the pink and blue Samurai Ranger’s.

Kevin was currently carrying some boxes of sound equipment, he presumed this was for the Ringmaster for when the show started, while Mia was carrying some rolls of cabling for the lights. “I didn’t realise how much equipment a Circus would need.” Mia said while hauling the cables over a railing, looking about the Big Top. Kevin set the boxes down beside her and wiped his brow, turning to scan the area himself. “No kidding, I thought it was all wooden poles and costumes.

Mia smiled and checked her phone, watching the notifications from the other rangers flooding in. “Still, it was worth it, we are getting paid and we got free tickets for everyone, I would call that a win.” Kevin nodded and walked back towards a stack of boxes. “Yeah, it seems almost too good to be true…” Mia folded her arms. “Ok what is up, you got that look on your face like you think something strange is going on.” Kevin glanced back over his shoulder and laughed. “Sorry, I just think its weird, we were brought in to help out and the Boss is nowhere to be seen, I just figured the Ringmaster would be out and about helping with everything.”

Mia glanced around, seeing clowns, acrobats, a lion and several strong men. “It does seem weird, but nobody else is worried, he’s probably just doing something else, besides, I bet you just want a picture with him.” Kevin groaned at Mia, her smile infectious as they got back to work, excited for the show ahead.

In the Ringmaster’s trailer, the legendary Ringmaster was sitting slumped in a chair, eyes glazed over and glowing, a drunk smile on his face as he nodded his head in a stupor. Before him stood what appeared to be a humanoid ferret, tall with soft fur, wearing a brightly coloured Ringmaster uniform, not unlike the one before him. The ferret swung a pocket watch back and forth, grining as the Ringmaster fell deeper into his trance.

An hour later, Kevin and Mia had finished with the crates and wiring and were now taking a break while the circus cast were milling about, preparing for opening time. Kevin looked over at the Ringmasters trailer, a pair of acrobats were leaving, arms linked and big smiles on their faces . The ringmaster followed, twirling his staff and walking with a funny spring to his step. “Looks like the boss has been giving everyone motivation, wonder what he told them to make everyone so happy?”

Mia shrugged, the staff had been walking in and out of the trailer for forty minutes now, pretty much everyone had been to see the Ringmaster. “If you are so curious, why don’t you come to my office and find out?” The pair of rangers jumped, they hadn’t noticed the Ringmaster approaching. Kevin rubbed his head bashfully, not sure how to react to being overheard. “Kevin, why don’t you go wait in my trailer, I need to speak with Mia for a moment, then we will join you.” The Ringmaster spun his cane as he spoke, pointing the top at Mia. Mia gasped in delight when the handle of the cane popped, and flowers burst from the top in a beautiful bouquet.

Kevin and Mia exchanged glances, both grinning . The blue ranger then waved to his friend and jogged towards the trailer, wondering what the Ringmaster had to say. Upon entering the trailer, Kevin found it full of props and costume pieces, apparently even the Ringmaster was focused on the show. As he sat down, Kevin glanced around, looking at the stacks of gear, the brightly covered bits of fabric, heck there was even a cute looking mascot in a ringmaster uniform.

Kevin looked at the mascot and smiled, the strange ferret wa s wearing a mix of yellow and blue, his cane leaning against his side. The costume was sitting in such a way that one of its arms was resting on its belly, a shining gold watch hanging between its fingers. Kevin couldn’t help but stare at the watch, the way it shone in the light, swaying gently with each tremor… it was hypnotic.

The blue ranger didn’t know when he sat down, nor when the mascot stood up, but he couldn’t peel his eyes away. The watch glowed brightly, and Kevin started to smile, his gaze growing misty and a big smile slipping onto his face. “Now there’s a good boy, you have worked very hard helping set up my circus, it’s only natural that I reward you.” The ferret said, his voice full of joy as he winked at Kevin. A reward sounded nice; Kevin liked the sound of that. “I know, why don’t you join the show, I could always use another talented clown.” Kevin felt his grin widen; he liked the sound of that.

Mia and the ringmaster walked towards his trailer, the pink ranger playing with a strand of hair as she laughed. “I had no idea you had been to so many places, you must have plenty more stories to tell.” The ringmaster rubbed the back of his head bashfully and winked at her. “Oh I have been all over, the things I have seen would blow your mind far more than my little circus could.” Mia stopped at the door and turned to the Ringmaster. “Don’t sell yourself short, I bet the show will be amazing.” The Ringmaster gave a bow, his arm extended. “Thank you kindly my dear, you know we could always do with some extra help in the show, if you would be interested.”

Mia opened the door and walked inside, beaming as she did so. “I never thought about it, but maybe I will take you up on that offer.” A new voice made the pink ranger turn, looking away from the Ringmaster and pausing at the sight before her. “ Now that is an offer too good to refuse.” The speaker was a large ferret in a similar costume to the Ringmaster. Mia took one look at the monster and reached for her morpher, there was far too much life to this costume for it to not be a monster. “Now that is just rude, we can’t have that can we?” The monster clicked his fingers and suddenly there was a strong pair of arms wrapped around Mia, locking her hands at her waist and away from her morpher.

Mia glanced over her shoulder at her assailant, jumping back to try and headbutt him, but stumbled in surprise when she realised it was Kevin. “Kevin!? What are you doing!?” Kevin gave her this dreamy stare, smiling as he drawled. “Just doing what the boss tells me, come on, we need to get ready for the show.” Mia felt another pair of hands grab her, the Ringmaster forcing her to look back at the ferret. “Look at me dear, my name is Ringmaster Barnum, but from now on, you can call me boss.”

The ferret swung a watch back and forth, the metal gleaming in a mystical light. Mia tried to look away, stamping down on Kevin’s foot, but he didn’t even react, too lost in whatever held him. “Come now, isn’t it pretty?” Barnum said, and he was right, the watch was gorgeous. The way it glowed softly, swinging gently like a pendulum. Mia couldn’t help but smile, even as something screamed in the back of her mind that she needed to look away. Slowly the others let go of the pink ranger, and she sank to her knees, watching the watch as if it was the most entrancing thing in the world. “Now then, I think it’s time I get you two into something a bit more comfortable and fluffier .” Barnum said, sitting at his desk and waving the Ringmaster away.

Kevin and Mia kneeled before Barnum, their faces stuck in a silly vacant grin, the blue and pink rangers at the true Ringmaster’s mercy. Barnum strutted before them, tapping his chin and thinking. “Now Kevin here will make an excellent c lown, however that might be a waste of your talents, perhaps a stuntman?” Barnum shook his head. “ Well, we will figure that out later, as for you my dear” he slipped up to Mia and held her face between his fingers and looked into Mia’s eyes. “I am sure we can make a showgirl out of you!”

The ferret clicked his fingers, settling down into his chair and watching as the rangers started to shift and groan, changes poking through and taking over their bodies. Kevin ’s eyes rolled in his head, irises changing to a deep amber colour. When the blue ranger smiled, his teeth had grown longer, sharper, gleaming. Kevin bent forward, clawed fingers digging into the floor as a long striped tail pushed through his pants and swished about, orange and black fur thick and fluffy. Kevin rolled, now on his back, shirt bu lging then tearing as a thick chest of white fur puffed out.

Barnum couldn’t help but frown as he watched to Kevin. “I suppose this is the trade off for hurrying a transformation.” Kevin for his part, seemed to be enjoying himself, the fur spreading across his body, stripes travelling up his arms and down his leg, tearing his clothes away as it went. Kevin’s mouth then pushed forward, becoming a thick muzzle, whiskers sprouting from either side of his face and twitching as he licked his lips. Kevin’s ears crawled up from the side of his face, twisting as black and white fur covered them, now perched atop the blue ranger’s head. Finally, Kevin let out a roar, then a purr, the tiger man drooping into a crouch and wating for orders , a big goofy smile on his face.

Barnum nodded in satisfaction, inspecting Kevin with delight. “Oh yes, you will make a fine daredevil, I hope you aren’t afraid of hoops or flames, you’ll be jumping through a few of them.” Barnum then turned his attention to Mia, eager to see what the pink ranger was becoming. Mia shook in place, her long dark hair shifting and turning as it grew out further, streaks of white with pink highlights running through her hair, then totally taking over. The pink ranger threw her arms up, the sleeves of her jacket stretching then bursting off as long white feathers sprouted from Mia’s arms.

The feathers grew out, then layered more over the first ones, each feather turning pink at the tips as Mia’s hands fused and stre tched, becoming the ends of her new wings. Mia threw her head back and cried out, not a human cry, but the beautiful trill of a bird, the song filling the trailer as her lips stretched into a narrow and pale beak. Mia blinked, her eyes now wide and wholly black , more pale and pink feathers spreading across her face while her top tore and fell away. Mia placed her wings against her chest, cooing softly as her breasts swelled in size, growing rounder and softer, soft peaks pushing forward, only to be covered by a pink and deep red plumage. The pink ranger then stood, legs shaking as her pants split down either side. Where Mia’s legs were once, now there was a pair of thick feathered thighs, tapering off to pale white at the knees. Below her knees, her legs had grown thinner, no feathers, only slender black legs, ending in three stretched toes, their obsidian black claws digging into the carpet. Finally, Mia bent over, grunting one last time as a single long feather pushed out the base of her spine, then spread out like a fan into a tail.

Barnum looked at his work appreciatively, circling the pair and nodding in approval. “Very nice, glad to see you both looking sharp and ready to work!” The ferret let out a laugh, like a chitter and chuckle rolled into one. “Now, do you have any secret talents I can put to use?” The Ringmaster hoped so, decent help was a dime a dozen, but he had a feeling these two were gems in the rough. Both answered swiftly, their smiles bright and earnest. “We were members of the power rangers Samurai!”

Barnum paused at that . Had he been a cartoon character his jaw would literally be on the floor. Barnum had expected ANYTHING but this. The ferret couldn’t help it, he started dancing in place, bouncing around and whooping at his good fortune. Oh, this is too much! I have been gifted something golden!” he stopped tried to contain his excitement. “Tell me, will the others be coming to my circus?” Again, both nodded. “We invited them when we received tickets for our hard work.” Mia answered, her voice taking on that musical trill again. Barnum felt like he would burst from joy.

“Excellent! This will be the greatest show in history ! Soon I will have five colourful stars to take this big top to the world stage!” Barnum tapped Kevin and Mia on the chest with his cane and they both stood. “Now then, both of you off to the costume tent, tell them I have a custom order on short notice! No wait, the show is tonight! I need…hmmm?” Barnum looked at the ruined pieces of clothing on the floor, noting the two morphers amongst the tattered remains.

“Well now, perhaps we can get you some custom costumes after al l.” The ringmaster picked up both morphers, holding them in one hand while aiming his cane like a wand swaying it slowly. A beam fired from the tip, red energy prodding the morphers and casing them to glow and change shape. The blue morpher became a cape clasp, buzzing and sparking energy that fizzled and spat when Barnum pressed it to Kevin’s shoulder. The pink morpher turned into a headdress, glowing softly. Barnum was pleased to see it stuck perfectly in the centre of Mia’s head.

The two former rangers twitched as energy sparked a shot across their bodies, dancing across their forms. Kevin’s clasp sprouted a long blue cape, fluttering over his left shoulder dramatically. The clasp then spread across his chest, wrapping the blue ranger with a star-spangled blue jacket, tassels along each arm, open at the chest to reveal his muscles. On the ranger’s hips, more blue leather, the tight-fitting pants shooting out tassels and black stars just like the jacket. Finally, a pair of blue and black shades slipper across Kevin’s vision, curving up into a blue bike helmet with a gap for his orange fur to poke through like a mohawk.

“Now that is a daredevil! You look like you could leap across the sky dressed like that!” Barnum decreed while circling Kevin, admiring his tiger daredevil, watching as the former blue ranger started to stretch and pose, the picture of raw confidence and proud vigour. Next was Mia, the pink ranger cawing her song while her headdress sprouted bright pink feathers, puffing up and out like a crow, smaller black feathers spread throughout. Below her neck, a shimmering pink and silver gown flowed, sleeveless and glistening.

The gown was open at the front, held in place by two black bands, one just below her chest, hidden by her breasts and crest. The second was just across her hips and was much thinner. The pink in the dress tapered out as they travelled down, leaving the gown silver as it split into two long tails that curved back and down, leaving Mia’s knees and below exposed, trailing back behind her like a cloak, spreading out on either side of the former pink ranger like the split tail feathers of a songbird. Barnum couldn’t help but gawk at the beauty before him, she was the picture of grace and elegance, a songstress that would capture the audience’s attention even before she sang. Barnum took one wing in his paws, Mia covering her face with the other, a princess with a fan, peering over it from under thick lashes while Barnum kissed the tip of her wing. “My dear, your song will enrapture the world, I shall prepare the finest horse for you to ride in on and the stage will shine silver with tears of envy when you perform.”

Mia gave a graceful bow, poised and delicate as she fluttered her eyelashes at Barnum. “I shall serenade the with my finest work, thank you for the chance, Ringmaster.” Barnum had to stop himself from kissing her wing again, truly, Mia would be his magnum opus, his grand finale. Kevin coughed awkwardly and Barnum pulled his eyes away to see the tiger grinning at him, shades down and eyebrows raised. “Right, message your friends, lets get this show started!”

Jayden Shiba, red ranger and leader of the Power Rangers Samurai, stood at the entrance to the circus grounds, checking his phone for the time a looking for his friends. Kevin and Mia had been very excited earlier, mentioning that the Ringmaster had been so impressed with them, he had asked them to join the show for the day. Jayden could already imagine the excited looks on their faces, and couldn’t help but wonder what role they would play in the show.

“Jayden! Sorry to keep you wating!” Jayden looked up to see Mike and Emily approaching, the green and yellow rangers both smiling with excitement as they pulled out their tickets. “I still can’t believe Kevin and Mia get to take part in this.” Emily said, glancing through the gates to the circus grounds, too big clowns on either side of the temporary entrance, their faces spread in big grins. “Apparently they are doing a special show for charity.” Mike piped up. “Something about animals in need, so they have everyone in animal costumes.” The green ranger gestured to the two clowns, one with a pug’s face, the other a horse.

Jayden laughed, it was a strange gimmick , but the kids were going crazy for it, many running around and squealing with delight as they saw one of the attractions walking about. While waiting Jayden had seen a large tiger man in a blue uniform signing autograph, apparently, he was a daredevil, going to perform grand feats on a motorbike. Unfortunately , Mia sent me a message earlier, since they are taking part, they will be too busy to hang out until the show is over.” Jayden gestured to his phone and the others nodded.

When they approached the gates, the pug faced clown stopped them and checked their tickets, his face splitting into a big grin as he held out a hand. “Ah, you must be our special guests, Kevin mentioned you would be coming.” The rangers looked at each other, wondering what was happening. The clown continued “Ringmaster Barnum upgraded your tickets, as a thank you for your friends hard work, you got special VIP seats when the show starts” Emily clapped her hands in delight, and the boys grinned at each other, it felt good to be treated every once and a while.

Emily practically sprinted through the gate, running into the grounds, watching people on stilts and clowns milling about, juggling pins and handing out sticks of cotton candy. Ja yden and Mike followed her, the green ranger rolling his eyes in amusement at her antics. The two rangers taking their time to admire the setup. There were several food stands set up, their fluffy occupants showing off an array of tasty delights. There was also a petting zoo, were some of the zoos more tame animals were being kept.

Emily practically squealed in delight at the sight of the snow white horse being carefully brushed by woman in a sheep costume. “This right here is our prized performing horse; the star of the show will be riding in on her for the finale .” She said upon noticing the three rangers. Mike leaned over the fence and stroked the horse’s nose gently. “What is the final act?” the green ranger asked curiously, glancing to the sheep woman as the horse nuzzled his fingers.

“Oh, she is a rare talent, a beautiful songbird and I mean that literally.” The sheep woman gestured to a posted on the fence. The rangers all leaned in and took in the sight on the woven sign. On the poster was a woman in a beautifully realistic songbird costume, with a stunning delicate gown, singing with wings thrown wide all while standing on the back of the horse beside them.

Jayden rubbed his chin and grinned. “I admit, now I am excited to see the show, it must take a great deal of focus to perform on the back of a moving animal.” The rangers glanced towards the tent and Mike frowned. “I wonder where they got someone with that kind of skill, I don’t remember there being any mention of her when the first posters went up.” Emily also frowned, glancing at the green ranger and nodding. “I also remember none of the posters showing people in these fluffy costumes, they would need to have them prepped beforehand so why not advertise them?”

Jayden scrunched his face, he wanted to investigate, to follow his friend’s intuition and go find out what this was all about, but there was so many people around they had no idea where to begin. Just then, a loud gong sounded across the field, and the crowd chattered abuzz with energy as people started heading towards the Big Top. “Looks like the show is about to start, let’s go, we can talk to Mia and Kevin about this afterwards.” Jayden spoke at almost a whisper, keeping a smile on his face as not to draw attention.

Emily led the way, despite the warnings from her friends, she was still extremely excited to see the circus. The yellow ranger had never been before and would hate for this once in a lifetime experience to be ruined by a monster or some villain with a grudge. Upon entering the tent, the three found themselves (along with the rest of the crowd) stunned by the scene that was before them. Where the roof of the tent should be, a sky of stars gleamed instead, its lights twinkling gently as the canvas rippled and danced in a way that shouldn’t be possible.

Mike looked down at his ticket, then towards a corded off area labelled “VIP” the green ranger looked back at his companions and pointed to the three seats with the perfect view of the performing grounds. “I guess this Is where we are supposed to sit.” Emily of course, hurried ahead, taking Mike and Jayden by the hand and dragging them to the seats.

The three rangers sat down, Mike on the left, Emily in the middle and Jayden on the right, the crowd around them hurrying to sit down as a loud booming voice came from the overhead speakers. “Welcome one and all! To Barnum’s amazing Circus! Hold onto your seats as we show you the greatest show in the world!” The crowd leaned forward in their seats, their excitement reaching a fever pitch as the lights spun overhead. “And now presenting, the magnificent, the extraordinary, the magical… Ringmaster Barnum!”

There was a bang and a puff of smoke, the lights snapping to the centre of the ring to reveal a ferret in an elaborate costume, twirling his cane and spinning in place. “Greetings all! I, Ringmaster Barnum, shall show you sights that will shock and stun you ! And to start off? The mighty flaming circle!” A tap of his cane had a ring of flames roaring to life around Barnum, a steel ring lifting above him from the ground, more flames engulfing it. “But who would dare brave such a terrifying obstacle? Wh y, the greatest flying tiger the world has ever seen! Bedecked in blue, and racing faster than lighting, give it up for… TRIUMPHANT TIGER!!!!”

The lights snapped away from Barnum, towards the back of the crowd on the far side of the tent, just in time to catch a motorcycle sailing over their heads, blue flames shooting from twin pipes on the back of the seat, leaving a trail in the air. When the rider landed, it was on a ramp that wasn’t there before, racing around the stage as sparks flew. The rider stood on his bike, on foot on the handles, using it to steer while the tiger in his fancy blue costume flexed, bowed then did a handstand.

Everyone watched in amazement as the tiger shot off a ramp, sailing through the ring, each time he did so he performed another trick, at one point switching bikes mid-air . On the final run, Tiger burned full force at the ring, the flaming metal circle shrinking to the size of a basketball. The whole crowd leaned in, staring in shock as the tiger leapt from his bike mid-air , twirling, one hand outstretched, the other by his side. Like a bullet, Triumphant Tiger flew straight and true, never touching the sides of the ring as he passed through, then landed on his bike before bringing himself down to the dirt safely, the crowd on their feet and cheering his feats.

Tiger gave on last bow and drove off through a gap in the seats, vanishing from sight. When everyone looked back, the entire setup was gone, replaced by Barnum standing on an elevated wooden platform, clapping his hands. “That was just the start! Next I need a volunteer from the audience, all who wish to join please stand up.” Emily immediately jumped from her seat, along with half the crowd. Barnum seemed to lock onto Emily the moment she stood and smiled. “We have a volunteer!”

Emily laughed, she was like a kid in a candy store, fully enjoying the show. She didn’t even notice when the monkey acrobat swung down from above, she did however notice when he hooked under the yellow rangers arm and carried her all the way to Barnum. Laughter filled the air and Emily shrieked in excitement and surprise as she sailed across the tent to land before the Ringmaster.

Barnum shook both Emily’s hands and turned to the audience. “Behold, the latest act in the circus! But first, I shall perform a trick of my own.” The crowd leaned in, eager to see what Barnum would do. The ferret produced a watch and started to swing it gently before Emily’s face. “Now miss Emily, please keep your eyes on the watch, I shall hypnotise you and soon you shall truly believe you are one of my acrobats!” Emily did as she was told, eyes gleaming, then growing glazed as the watch swung back and forth, its light reflecting like a soft flame.

Barnum put his watch away. “Now watch in amazement, as Miss Emily performs acts only a trained professional would ever be able to do!” Just as the Ringmaster spoke, Emily leapt back off the platform, arms outstretched. The crowd gasped, but before she hit the ground, Emily was caught by an acrobat, his legs wrapped around a swing and golden retriever face in a big smile. Emily smiled back with a drunk grin, letting go of his hands and sailing through the air to be caught by the monkey from before. There were many acrobats now, each twirling and flying as they sprung around the tent from their trapeze. Each time the yellow ranger was passed amongst them, spinning as if she had done this a thousand times before.

When the act ended, all the acrobats landed together, Emily right in the middle of them and they bowed, the crowd erupting into thunderous applause. Barnum clapped too, then spoke into the microphone. “Now let us say goodbye to our glorious performers, and to Miss Emily, who is a natural at this, and prepare for the main act!” The crowd clapped again, Emily and the acrobats vanishing into the tunnel below the stands. Mike watched her go and turned to grin at Jayden, but saw the red ranger was frowning and staring at Barnum. “What is wrong?” Mike asked, he hadn’t seen anything to be worried about, yet Jayden looked ready for a fight.

“The Ringmaster… how did he know Emily’s name? and why didn’t he break the hypnotism and bring Emily back.” Mike furrowed his brow and thought. “I mean, we are in the VIP seats, he probably got her name from there , and I guess it was easier to let her walk than swing Emily back up?” Jayden nodded his voice low. “And the hypnotism?” Mike tried to think of an answer, but none came to mind. The two rangers sat there in silence, both beginning to wonder if there was something more to their situation, when the stage lit up again.

The stage was empty, fog billowing across what was once a pit of sand. Now? Black marble, glistening and strong, small twinkling lights dancing off the surface. The crowd heard her before they saw her, the hard clatter of hooves on the stone, timed, perfectly in sync. When they finally saw her the whole crowd dropped into a world without sound, as if the whole world held its breath for that one moment in time. Songbird? More like angel. She was divine and graceful, her wings spread out as a silver-white horse carried her onto the stage, moving slowly, in rhythm with the soft melody that circled the tent.

When the beautiful pink Songbird sang, it was like the sound of moonlight, and silver, and stars. The stuff dreams were made of. Jayden didn’t know if there were any lyrics, he most certainly couldn’t hear any, yet his heart cried with each note and sorrow and wonder soared in his soul. Perhaps they sat there for hours, perhaps it was moments, but when the song was done, and the Songbird left the stage, the whole crowd remained frozen, as if they couldn’t bare to move, as if doing so would shatter this one perfect moment.

Barnum returned to the stage, wiping away a tear and speaking into the microphone. “That was beautiful, thank you Mia.” Jayden and Mike flinched at the name, returning to their senses and standing slowly. Barnum continued on, undisturbed. “And thank you Power rangers, for providing me with some truly spectacular acts, I wouldn’t have been able to put on such a great show without you.” Jayden and Mike whipped out their morphers, transforming and leaping down to the stage. “What is this? What did you do to our friends!?” Mike cried out, racing for the ferret.

“My dear boy, the same thing I am going to do to you.” Barnum tapped his cane on the floor, the loud sound reverberating through the room. Mike was suddenly knocked off his feet, a yellow spotted form sending him tumbling. Jayden ran to his friend’s side and drew his sabre, staring at Emily, wearing a bright yellow leotard with a cape, thick yellow fur with black spots covering her bare limbs, and a pair of cat ears growing from her head. “A Cheetah, most appropriate, no?” Barnum laughed, twirling his watch on one finger. “But perhaps I need a little more help with this.”

Barnum slammed his cane into the ground again, and the frozen crowd leapt to their feet, clothes tearing and beasts howling as every single person watching the show, transformed. Mike and Jayden didn’t even have enough time to count all the different kinds of animals appearing around them, when they rushed the stage, leaping on the two rangers in a wild fury. The two rangers tried to fight their way free, but it was impossible, the horde of animals washing over them in a wave and pinning them down. Emily just stood there grinning, fur continuing to grow across her body while the former crowd forced Jayden and Mike into kneeling positions before Barnum.

Barnum twirled his watch, breaking into a happy jig as he slipped forward, laughing as he did so. “You rangers are so powerful, yet once I had you in my grasp it was like watching a house of cards crumble, it was almost too easy. ” The ferret started to sway his watch back and forth before the two, each ranger’s head held by two animals forcing them to watch th e twinkling device. Even with their visors drawn over the ranger’s faces, they couldn’t close their eyes or look away.

Instead, the familiar distant look seeped in, and the rangers deactivated their ranger suits without a thought. Barnum patted Jayden and Mike on the shoulder, watching as they started to squirm. “Welcome to the family, I hope you enjoy your stay.” Mike and Jayden twitched and groaned, the other animals backing off as fur started to sprout across their bodies, pushing up from their chests, arms and legs.

Mike’s fur was thick and dark brown, almost shaggy. Meanwhile Jayden’s fur was mixed, with hazel brown fur on top, while his belly and face had white fur. Their clothes couldn’t contain the changes, bursting at the scenes as both rangers writhed and grew. Jayden’s eyes widened, moving further away and a wide tongue pushing out his mouth while the red rangers nose turned into a muzzle. Mike on the other hand, felt his lips push into a snout, ears moving up his head and shifting to rounder and smaller.

Jayden became leaner, howling as he stood up, now a happy smiling Boston terrier, his lopsided grin making Barnum laugh. “Well, aren’t you a cute fella, why don’t I make you one of my prized knife throwers, I’m sure you will be a laugh.” The sound of something falling over had Barnum turn to Mike. The green ranger had put on pound after pound of muscle, only to develop a wide and round gut, rolling on the floor and grunting as he scratched said stomach. “Aww, what a silly grizzly bear, what should I do with you?” Barnum asked, watching as Mike continued to roll and flop about.

A pair of cute panda girls brought forward a unicycle and placed it next to Mike, the big bear perking up as he gripped the seat and hobbled on, wobbling from side to side. “A silly bear indeed, I think you will make the funniest clown in the show.” Barnum admired his two new acts, Emily moving to stand beside them, soon joined by Kevin and Mia. “The Power Ranger’s are no more, now all will only know of Barnum’s magnificent colourful circus!” The ferret spread his arms wide, the animals all clapping in delight, with the exception of Mike, who stopped to clap, causing his unicycle to fall over. Barnum spun towards the entrance to the tent and smirked, clapping his hands. Pack it up boys and girls, it’s time to start our tour!
